Dave has been fascinated by tattoos from a young age, this snowballed into an obsession as soon as he started getting tattooed. For as long as he can remember, he has relentlessly scavenged for anything printed with the words Tattoo or Tattooing on it. Searching from book stores to flea markets and now the internet, his search continues to be endless. Around the time of acquiring and putting together his first tattoo machines in 2006, Dave enlisted in the army and received orders to report to the 4 Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division, where he served through 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan during the Operation Enduring Freedom campaign. As a result his passion for art and tattooing inevitably had to take a backseat, although always on his heart, daily thoughts and in the back of his mind. Upon his Honorable Discharge Dave quickly found an opportunity to dive head first into the arts and began to chip away at learning how to draw, for tattooing, from the ground up. Without the wonderful artists he has had the opportunity to get tattooed by and learn from, he admits he would be nothing in the tattoo industry. Dave specializes in executing the cleanest tattoo physically possible in whatever style you desire. Dave is drawn toward the traditional style of tattoo work. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the craft, particular artist contributions and can pick out who did a tattoo most times by just seeing the image. Dave is very thorough and spends whatever time is needed making sure your work is well thought out, what you will be proud of and most of all one that will last. If he feels he isn’t the right man for a specific tattoo, rest assured he knows who is and will steer you in the right direction.
